After The Festivities Of Christmas, Sit Back, Have A Breather And Enjoy The Holiday To The Max
Even a few days after Xmas day, can we remember every gift we received and who gave them to us? I attempt this every year, but usually have difficulty within a few days of remembering them all. Is it that I am not grateful? I think not, I am very grateful for what people get for me, so what is it that obstructs me from immediately remembering all the presents. Am I too pampered and receive so many it would be hopeless to remember them all? No, I receive from maybe 6 family and friends. I consider it is because I have so many issues going on in my thoughts at any one time, I find it difficult to centre on just one.
Primarily, there is my children. As with many families these days, it is a complex one, each individual with their own issues, and this takes up a big part of my thoughts. On top of that I have my home, which as with most homes, takes a good deal of cash to keep in good repair and with nice furniture. Then there is my day job. I am fortunate that I Work From Home, so do not have to commute each day to work, but being self employed does have its own worries. As I have not been involved in my Internet Business for very long, it is very much the early days of this business for me, with many uncertainties about when cash will start to appear. I know in actuality that it will happen in the near future, but a portion of my thoughts are spent on this right now.
So, I let myself off with the fact I cannot remember instantly every gift I have received. I thank everyone immediately for their gifts, before I have time to file that task away as complete, and perhaps this is one of the reasons I do not remember the presents, it is a completed job. As my Work From Home involves Online Jobs, I do not need to remember each job once complete, and I think that this carries on into my personal jobs. I need to think about jobs which are ahead of me or which I am currently working on, rather than those I have concluded.
My Internet Business involves search engine optimization for other small and medium sized firms, so most of the work is Online Jobs, and the work is very interesting as I am dealing with cutting edge technology. Having the prospect to work with firms dealing in a vast array of markets helps to give me a rounded view of the jobs people can take up, what options there are for people starting out in industry. It is amazing, the ideas some people have come up with and created a role for themselves. The opportunity for me to support them to increase visibility on the net is a privilege after the work they have put into their firm.
