Blogging To The Bank -Internet Advertising Instructions – Are We Looking At The Alike Thing?

I really wonder if Internet marketers are looking at the same thing. One guy says the new iPad is great and another guy says it’s trash. And this goes on and on for just about every product, marketing wise related or not, that I can think of. Really makes me wonder whose eyes are glued on straight and who needs a new pair of glasses. Okay, there is a reason for this odd little rant and I’m going to get right to it…so hang in there. As Internet marketers, we are trying to reach our target market the best way we know how. Agree with me so far? Okay, we don’t all agree on the methods to use (some use article marketing, some pay per click) but we do agree that if we don’t give our target market the experience that they’re looking for when they come to our site, they are NOT going to buy from us. With me so far?

Okay, we run through all this trying to attempt to optimise that experience. With our paragraphs, if that is the technique we apply, we attempt to publish stronger and stronger with each single. We strength try out with dissimilar imagination boxes to look at which one performs better. With our sales pages, we transforms head-lines to look at which one pulls better. With our squeeze pages we attempt dissimilar matter. We stay trying and fine-tuning until we come up with transition figures that we’re pleased with. And even then, we do not stop. We are always trying to optimise our selling drive. I consider we could all fit on this. However, what we can’t appear to fit on, and this is where I hold to wonder if we’re all searching at the similar thing, is how to interpret those effects. John Doe approach to me and says he’s achieving a two% transition on his sales page after just one attempt and I say, “Hey, that is solid! Route to go!” Jim “I’m Never Satisfied” Jones says, “That’s pitiful” and without delay dismisses the venture as an abysmal failure.

Did I miss something here? Hold I been on the turnip truck too far. I understand that Jim Jones is likely a seven figure earner and anything smaller amount than a 10% transition to him is crap, simply there are citizens in this industriousness who would kill for a two% transition their first shot out of the gate.Point is, when you look at affairs, you hold to look at them objectively. You blogging to the bank 2010 bonus can’t let your private “wish list” gain in the direction. You hold to look at industriousness averages and standards to find out where you are and where you want to be. Pie in the sky is disappearing to gain you killed because it’s disappearing to objective up discouraging you. Before you have Jim Jones’ pooh-pooh of your transition as gospel, have a look at what the industriousness says regarding it.
