People who love to plan things may be interested in working in the convention and meeting industry.  Often, these large events take more than a year to plan and put together using a very specialized field of knowledge.  The minimal requirement for most convention and event management jobs is a bachelor’s degree.  In the convention and meeting management field there are many specialties like facilities managers, travel coordinators, and exhibit planners.
