Get To Know The Primary Characters Who Make Spanish For Children DVD Dora The Explorer So Entertaining

Dora The Explorer is a very popular Spanish for children DVD series which was created by Chris Gifford, Valerie Walsh, and Eric Weiner. Ever since it appeared on the Nickelodeon cable telly network in two thousand, it has grown steadily in popularity, prompting a Spanish-dubbed version in 2006.

But what makes Dora The Explorer such an entertaining series for children is its engaging and captivating characters. Here, we take a better look at three main characters of the series and find out as to why children just love them.

Dora
The main personality in this popular Spanish for children DVD is none other than Dora. Dora is a 7 year old Latina who goes on a new journey in every episode to either to find things or to help people. She is usually accompanied by her best mate Boots The Monkey and the show’s opponent – Swiper The Fox.

In every episode, children learn many things from Dora. I adore the fact that aside from sharing her culture and teaching spectators Spanish words and phrases, she usually has a positive view on everyone she meets, even if the person she meets has debatable inclinations. This teaches children not to discriminate and to always find a friendly solution to any problem that might appear.

Dora also provides the voice of reason when her best mate, Boots The Monkey, comes to a decision to throw circumspection to the wind and embark on his small adventure . This artfully teaches children not to react too hastily particularly when their parents decide to not let them do something as there is a good reason for it.

Boots The Monkey
Boots The Monkey is Dora’s best friend, often accompanying her on her travels. He gets his name from the red boots he wears and loves. As mentioned earlier, Boots, more often than not, gets in a bit of difficulty. However , he gets out of it with some aid from spectators and Dora, of course.

Boots is very eager and energetic. He does all kinds of stunts like flips and somersaults during their journeys and is very happy to help Dora solve puzzles, riddles and clues.

Swiper The Fox
Swiper The Fox likes to swipe Dora’s things. But after all of the hardship he puts Dora thru, Dora still treats him like a friend . This comes to light when Swiper finds himself in difficulty and calls to Dora and Boots for help.

I feel many children can simply relate to Swiper’s mischievous tactics since children have a tendency to be same. But just as importantly, the relationship Swiper has with Dora teaches children about true friendship as well as mercifulness.

Conclusion
The Dora The Explorer Spanish learning DVDs set is excellent for teaching children Spanish language and culture. What is unique about this Spanish for children DVD series is it also teaches children what comradeship really means.

In summary :
