How Low Do You Regard Your Own Worth In Order To Gain From The Opportunity To Work From Your House?
During my investigation into the choices for those who choose to Work From Home, I decided to add myself to the growing number of adults who are paid for completing surveys via the internet. I was required to enrol with many survey companies in order to confirm I had a wide spectrum of surveys to undertake.
Their initial data would lead you to the conclusion that if you are willing to do lots of Online Jobs, doing surveys, then you can find yourself earning a good living and with the bonus of winning prizes too. From my experience I would warn that this Internet Business is certainly not all it is cracked up to be. If you were advised that you could find work for 30p an hour, would you accept the job? Probably not! Yet with some of these survey businesses, that is what you earn. There are some which tell you they will pay £2 to complete a 20 minute survey, but I never looked to match the profile they were after. I usually was a match for the 10p for 20 minute survey profile.
Added to this, your details are supposed to be private, and you are not supposed to be called by anybody in response to any surveys you undertake, yet on two occasions I was contacted, once by a holiday company wanting me to be part of their deal (equivalent to timeshare) and again by a firm advising that they could help me clear my credit card debts. Not bad outlay for these companies, a good way of marketing themselves to people who fit their mould, for the sake of 10p!
Other businesses are not survey companies at all, but want you to search through their cheap airline tickets or clothes. Some want you to use their web based casino and offer you an incentive of so much money to spend on your first visit. Be careful, you could lose all that money you accrued on the other survey panel web sites very speedily.
A lot of companies do not pay you at all, merely points for you to “spend” on things they have available on their web site – think Green Shield Stamps here – how many points do you actually require to purchase a pair of socks?
Do not get me wrong, there are a number of sites that do actually pay money worth having – one would appear to pay 50p for completing a very short survey, the equivalent of £6 per hour, but as they do not actually throw many surveys your way, the hour could be spread over a long time period.
So, all in all, if you are selecting to Work From Home, and want Online Jobs which will pay good money and where you do not feel that you are being had, look at another Internet Business to survey panels. If, however, you just want to advise people of your opinion on which car, moisturiser, or other items you buy, where you like to holiday, what your political views are, and are not financially driven, then this is a good leisure activity. Keep a note of all the surveys you have undertaken, and the dates, as you will on occasion be asked if you have done surveys in any of the following areas recently, and enjoy yourself, but do not expect it to make you rich.
