The Constant Worry Of Going To Interviews And Applying For Work Can Be A Thing Of History

When you are searching for work, for whatever reason, the task of searching through jobs; Online Jobs, jobs in the papers, those found through social networking, prospective searches, is very time consuming. There is a requirement to keep your CV current and take care that it matches any post you are going for. Then, so many companies want you to fill out their own application form, your CV does not work for their requirements. All your effort would appear to be for nothing.

If you do manage to get the process correct, you may be lucky enough to be asked to attend for interview, at which time you spend a lot of time finding out about the firm, their services, thinking up relevant questions for when they enquire if you have anything you want to ask them, and you don’t want to ask about holidays and pay. Then you need to bring to mind good reasons why you want to work for their firm – the fact they are the only firm who have asked you to come for interview in the last 3 months and you are ready to accept any job is probably not a good reply, even if it is the real answer.

After all that, you attend the interview and do not get the job, because you are not a 100% match – well could they not see that from the CV or application form you sent in? It is very demoralising and you may lose confidence in your own skills.

Look at it from another angle – what other choices are on offer to you? How would you like to Work From Home, running your own Internet Business? Maybe you like working for somebody else, you are not good at book keeping, but you still think you would wish to Work From Home, well seek through the web at the Online Jobs available to you, there are so many opportunities. Many of these posts require you to have nothing more than a pc and internet connection, which probably if you are searching on line, you already have.

If you did set up your own Internet Business, then you would not need to attend a job interview again. You would be your own boss, working out your own working patterns, and being employed in a business for which you already have passion. The fact this also gives you the opportunity to Work From Home is the icing on the cake! You can have it all and in the process re-establish your self esteem.

I am sure there are some adults who enjoy looking for jobs, maybe make something of a hobby of applying for roles while they are already in a good position, in case their next promotion happens along. However, I think the majority of us see this as a chore, something to be conquered in order to find our next career move and hoping against hope that we will not need to bother with any of this stuff ever.
